Price difference in-store/online

While some new releases are around £5 cheaper online, there are still plenty of reasons to pick up your stuff in-store.
 
– It’s quick and easy. Pick up what you want instantly – without waiting around for the postman.
– Express delivery costs about £5 – that’s more than the typical price difference between the high-street and online price. That means you’re getting a better deal in-store – plus you don’t have to wait around for delivery.
– Get the stuff you want when it’s convenient for you. Evenings, bank holidays, Sundays – times you just can’t get things delivered.
– Take advantage of our exclusive in-store offers that can’t be found anywhere else!

Do pre-orders prices vary?

Online pre-orders are offered at an exclusive price, meaning they may be cheaper than in-store. There are still plenty of reasons to order in-store; you have ready access to our knowledgeable staff, you can walk away with the game that day and you may even get the chance to trial the game in our store!
 
New releases are no more than £5 cheaper online unless there is a web exclusive offer.

Are prices the same in-store as online?

Some of our prices may vary between in-store and online.
 
Our online prices aim to compete with other websites selling similar products. Every week, we compare out top chart titles with other websites to make sure we continue to bring you great prices.
 
In our high-street stores, we provide a different experience, with expert advice, hands-on demos, events, and more. Our stores are unable to match online prices.

Do you charge VAT?

Prices for items delivered within the EU include VAT where applicable (No. GB 190 3961 94).
 
VAT rates vary between countries, but we maintain one price for each item on our website regardless of the country and VAT rate. VAT on orders delivered to individuals within the EU is non-refundable and we pay VAT on your order at the applicable rate based on the country of delivery. We do not vary our prices based on the country of delivery.
 
If you are a business customer within the EU, are VAT registered and supply us with your full VAT number including country code then no VAT will be applied to your order.  However as we maintain one price for each item on our website you are not entitled to a refund for zero-rated VAT.
 
VAT isn’t charged on any order delivered outside of the UK and EU, and there is no entitlement to a refund for zero-rated VAT.

Where is my refund?

Once we’ve processed your refund, you’ll receive a confirmation email. It can take up to 10 working days for the funds to show up in your account. In the case of gift card refunds, your eVoucher should appear in your inbox in around 72 hours. Reward account refunds also take around 72 hours to show in your balance.
